FBI: International Season 1 ((LINK))
FBI: International is an American crime television series that airs on CBS. It is the second spin-off from Dick Wolf's drama FBI and the third series in the FBI franchise. The series follows a team of FBI Special Agents who investigate crime and terrorism abroad. FBI: International premiered on September 21, 2021, and a full season was ordered in October 2021.
FBI: International Season 1
The series follows members of the FBI's international "Fly Team", elite Special Agents headquartered in Budapest who locate and neutralize threats against American interests around the world principally in Europe.[4][5] The team is led by FBI Supervisory Special Agent Scott Forrester, a tough and grizzled FBI agent. Under his supervision are FBI Special Agents Jamie Kellett, a career FBI agent and second in command; Andre Raines, a young but highly intelligent agent with expertise in accounting; and Cameron Vo, an interrogation expert who is the newest team member, having formerly been a field agent in the Seattle FBI field office. Assisting the team is Katrin Jaeger, a veteran Europol Agent from Germany who helps the team navigate political and linguistic barriers. At the end of season 1, Jaeger is promoted to oversight of all Europol operations, and Megan "Smitty" Garretson, an old acquaintance of Forrester, is assigned in her place.
In addition to facing a wide array criminal and terroristic threats, the Fly Team must also contend with the practical and legal challenges of operating in foreign jurisdictions, ranging from uneasy partnerships with foreign law enforcement to restrictions on using firearms.[6] The show's international flavor is meant to juxtapose it with the vast majority of American police procedural shows, which take place almost exclusively in the United States.[7]
FBI: International aired the first episode of season 1 on Sky Witness in the UK on July 22, 2022, at 9pm with new episodes of FBI: International airing every Thursday night at 10pm, an hour after the main FBI series which airs in the UK on Thursday nights at 9pm.
The first season also found Raines unsure of his present and future. A lot of what's necessary from a bureau perspective didn't really appeal to him, but when his sister was kidnapped, he got a better idea of what the job means.
The season one cast includes Luke Kleintank as Special Agent Scott Forrester, Heida Reed as Special Agent Jamie Kellett, Carter Redwood as Special Agent Andre Raines, Vinessa Vidotto as Special Agent Cameron Vo, and Christiane Paul as Europol Agent Katrin Jaeger.
Our legal attaché program is managed by the International Operations Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. This office keeps in close contact with other federal agencies, Interpol, foreign police and security officers in Washington, and national and international law enforcement associations. International liaison and information sharing are conducted in accordance with executive orders, laws, treaties, Attorney General Guidelines, FBI policies, and interagency agreements.
One vital way that we build the international partnerships needed to gain that assistance is through the FBI National Academy. This program gathers law enforcement leaders from around the world to learn and train together for 10 weeks, not only elevating levels of expertise but also building bonds of friendship that last for years.
Episode 1 of FBI: International Season 2 starts with a man being stabbed in his throat on the streets of Paris. The scene then cuts to Forrester who is still having a hard time about the events surrounding his mom from last season. Vladislav is stalking him and wants to kill him as he blames Scott for the death of his brother but he is stopped by the Russian mob.
The case was not as high stakes as I expected given that this is the first episode of the season but it still delivered the action. Smitty is different from Jaeger and that is a good thing, I think she changes the dynamics of the show for the better. However, only time will tell how well she will fit in.
In addition to playing the career-defining Other who is trapped on the mysterious island with the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, Mitchell has also starred in "Gia," the "Santa Clause" franchise, the "V" reboot, and "Once Upon a Time." Her most recent endeavor is as a guest star on "FBI: International," where she appears as Angela Cassidy, the estranged mother of Scott Forrester, FBI special agent and head of the Fly Team, played by Luke Kleintank ("Bones," Pretty Little Liars"). As the second spin-off from Dick Wolf's "FBI" drama, the international arm of the series airs Tuesdays on CBS.
I hope so. I'm so excited it got picked up [for a second season]. That's really exciting. I'd love to come play with them when they'll have me. They are a really fun group of people to get to work with, so I'm all for it, should it come to that.
FBI: International season 1 averaged 5.983 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.53 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 20, which aired last Tuesday night, May 17, 2022, drew in 5.962 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.54 ratings score.
FBI: International is taking a break from airing new episodes. The next new episode doesn't air until April 4. Now would be a great time to rewatch some of your favorite moments from the season over on Paramount Plus.
For UK fans of the show, although Paramount Plus is now available, we are still waiting to get an official word that UK subscribers will be able to view the new episodes on the streamer, or if the new season will air at a later date on another platform.
In the case of FBI: International, we're referring to Ken Dandridge (Michael Torpey), who is gracing us with his presence for a few episodes in Season 2. Prior to the midseason fall finale, we hadn't seen him since the last episode of Season 1. Given that, we thought a brief but glorious refresher was needed.
The show is the third show from Dick Wolf's FBI franchise, following the "Fly Team" this time, who solve international crimes and neutralize threats against American citizens from across the world. The finale will center on the crash of a private jet outside of Poland and the suspected perpetrator behind this act. The last episode will also include an emotional subplot concerning Special Agent Scott Forrestor's (Luke Kleintank) mother.
Though there has only been mention of Poland in the synopsis, Kleintank has confirmed that a part of the episode will be set in Croatia. He has also confirmed in the same interview that the spy is not a mere guest appearance but someone who will stick around in the future. Alon Aboutboul also recently concluded a five-season run with FX's Snowfall.
Despite so many developments, Kleintank has confirmed that this season finale will not have anything new between Forrestor and Special Agent Jamie Kellett (Heida Reed). The upcoming episode will reportedly feature a host of old characters from the previous episodes as well.

For fans of "FBI: International," a series from CBS that follows a close-knit team of agents who help solve crimes across Europe, you might not realize that a lot of the show is filmed on location. In the first season (the finale of which airs today), the "Fly Team" is based in Budapest, Hungary. Chances are, you'll recognize a few historic backdrops throughout the show.
During this early scene from the show, you can see the attraction's columns, zigzagging walkways and ivy-covered walls in the background as you're introduced to Forrester and his partner, Jamie Kellett. In this moment, you're also introduced to Budapest, the team's home base throughout the first season.
Last but not least is Szekesfehervar, a filming location just southwest of Budapest. The city's historic downtown area, including its charming and colorful buildings, is used as a backdrop throughout the season. It's one of the oldest destinations in Hungary (and was once a royal residence).
Although Budapest was never at the top of my travel list, watching the first season of "FBI: International" has made me want to visit the city sooner rather than later. Not only do I want to check out some of the filming locations and see how they differ from what I saw on screen, but I also want to learn about the history and culture of a place that this TV show inadvertently introduced to me.
May 11 is the beginning of the end with the wrapping up of Ghosts' second season, and then the dates roll out as shown below, with the season officially finishing on May 24 with a 3-hour Survivor finale. 041b061a72
